Buffer alternative: one price per brand instead of per channel, $9 for every network, MCP and approvals

PostWire does what people use Buffer for, writing a post once and scheduling it to several networks from one calendar, and changes the bill: $9 a month covers a whole brand with every network, where Buffer charges $5 per channel (six channels: $30). It adds the networks Buffer does not have (Telegram, Discord, Slack, Nostr, WordPress, Dev.to, Hashnode), an MCP server and n8n node on every plan, and approval rules that hold an agent's post until a person says yes.

What Buffer does well, and where PostWire goes further

Buffer is a polished, well-supported scheduler with a lot around the calendar: a community inbox where you reply to comments on ten networks with AI replies, insights with performance overviews, custom and branded reports, an ideas board with templates and tags, a hashtag manager, a browser extension, and imports from Canva, Dropbox, Google Drive and Unsplash. It covers X, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Substack, which PostWire does not list, and its Free plan keeps 10 scheduled posts per channel in the queue at a time on up to 3 channels, with API access. If you reply to comments every day and want reports, it is a fine choice.

PostWire concentrates on publishing to many networks from one idea, on a bill that does not grow with each network you connect:

Questions people ask

Does PostWire post to X?
X is offered through credits because of X's own API cost; see the X page. Buffer includes X as a regular channel.
Does PostWire reply to comments?
No. It publishes and schedules; replies stay in each network's app or in Buffer's inbox if you keep it.
Why does Buffer's free plan look bigger?
Because its 10 posts per channel is a queue size you can refill, not a monthly cap. PostWire's Free is 10 posts a month, but it includes the API, the MCP server and the n8n node, which is what people need to try an agent before paying.
Can I keep Buffer and try PostWire on the side?
Yes. Both connect through each network's official login and neither one removes the other.
What does Starter add for $9?
3 brands, every network in each post, 1,000 posts a month, 1 GB files, 3 seats, bulk CSV, recurring posts, 25 RSS feeds, 14-day refund. Cancel from the dashboard in one click.
