Blotato alternative: API and MCP on the free plan, $9 after, 14 networks
PostWire does what builders pick Blotato for, giving Claude Code, n8n or a script one call that publishes to every connected network, and starts earlier: the API and the MCP server are on the Free plan (Blotato's trial excludes both and needs a card), $9 a month for a whole brand instead of $29, and 14 networks including Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, Telegram, Discord, Slack and three blog platforms, each one connected free.
What Blotato does well, and where PostWire goes further
Blotato is an AI content factory with a publisher attached: unlimited AI writing in 58 languages, AI images and videos on monthly credits, ElevenLabs voiceovers and captions, proven viral templates, a database of viral posts, official n8n and Make nodes, and an engagement engine that answers DMs and comments (1,000 active contacts a month on Starter, 15,000 on Agency). Its API and MCP server are included from the $29 Starter plan, with 20 social accounts and up to 900 TikTok posts a month. If you want one tool to generate the media and post it, it is a fine choice.
PostWire concentrates on the publishing half and makes it cheaper, wider and safer to hand to an agent:
API and MCP from the first minute, free. The Free plan ships the REST API, the hosted MCP server for Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT, and the n8n node, with 10 posts a month, no card and no trial clock. On Blotato, the 7-day trial needs a card, excludes the API and MCP, and generating an API key ends the trial and starts the $29 plan.
$9 for a whole brand. Starter is $9 a month: 3 brands, every network in each post, 1,000 posts, 1 GB files, 3 seats, bulk CSV, recurring posts, RSS, 14-day refund. Blotato Starter is $29; Creator, the "most popular" plan, is $97.
14 networks, including the ones agents and developers ask for. Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, Telegram, Discord and Slack, plus full articles to WordPress, Dev.to and Hashnode, next to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Pages, YouTube and LinkedIn. Blotato's own footer counts 9 platforms.
No per-network cap and no credit meter on posting. PostWire's limits are published per plan (posts a month, posts a day, file size) and the API returns each one with a code and its reset time. There is no 900-posts-a-month TikTok ceiling and no AI credit to buy before a post goes out.
An agent that cannot post past you. Make posts from an API key, the MCP connector or n8n wait for a person, by network or only when the post has a link, a price or a word from your list. Cap each key's posts a month and the networks it may touch. A key can never approve itself. Blotato's pricing page lists accounts and contacts; an approval gate is not visible there.
White label and a client portal at $99. Agency gives 50 clients, client links and approval emails under your name, a portal where each client connects their own accounts without a PostWire account, and a monthly report with your logo. Blotato's Agency plan is $499 and lists more AI credits, contacts and dedicated support; white label is not visible on its pricing page.
A creator program that pays 30 %. Show how you publish with PostWire and get 30 days of Pro plus 30 % of every payment from the people who sign up through you, for 12 months.

It writes a native post per network and can make a 10-second vertical video from the post's words. For AI images, long AI videos or voiceovers, generate them in Blotato or another tool and pass the media URL to PostWire.
Does PostWire post to X?
X is offered through credits because of X's own API cost; see the X page.
What happens to posts my agent sends on Free?
Each post goes to 2 networks; the AI still writes every network's version and the rest wait behind a lock until you upgrade. Approval rules and per-key caps work on paid plans.
Can I keep Blotato and try PostWire on the side?
Yes. Both connect through each network's official login and neither one removes the other.
What does Starter add for $9?
3 brands, every network in each post, 1,000 posts a month, 1 GB files, 3 seats, bulk CSV, recurring posts, 25 RSS feeds, 14-day refund. Cancel from the dashboard in one click.
