Every price below was read on the vendor's own page on Oct 21, 2026; the links are under Sources. We build PostWire, and its figures come from the plans that bill you. Each entry says where that tool wins as well as where PostWire goes further.

| Ayrshare | $149 | social profile | Every plan | $149 | $299 |
| Mixpost | $299 once | server license | Pro (self-hosted) | $299 once | $299 once |
How each bill is reached: PostWire Starter covers 3 businesses and Pro 10, each with all of its networks. Zernio is 2 free accounts, then $6 for accounts 3-10 and $3 for 11-100 (50 accounts: 2 + 8 × $6 + 40 × $3). Post for Me meters posts, not accounts. Upload-Post Basic is 5 profiles and Advanced 75. Postiz Pro is 30 channels and Ultimate 100. Blotato Starter is 20 accounts, Creator 40, so 50 need Agency. Ayrshare Premium is 1 profile and Launch 10. Mixpost is one license for unlimited accounts on your server.
A business is one brand with all of its networks, so ten client businesses on five networks each are $29 a month. One request writes a different native post per network (hook-first TikTok caption, YouTube title + tags, long LinkedIn post) and publishes them: REST API, hosted MCP server with OAuth sign-in, n8n node, or the dashboard. The free plan includes TikTok, the API and the MCP server, and needs no card. Clients can approve posts from a link without an account.
What it does not do: the free plan has 10 posts a month and 2 networks per post; X needs credits; Reddit and Pinterest are not live.
One rate card, every feature included: unlimited posts, inbox, analytics and the full API on the free accounts too. Ten accounts are $48 a month. Ad accounts and blogs (WordPress, Shopify, Wix) count as accounts.
Where Zernio wins: graduated pricing that reaches $1 an account at scale, and a free tier with no post cap. Where PostWire goes further: writes the post per network, counts a business instead of each account, and ships a hosted MCP server.
One plan, metered on successful posts, with unlimited accounts and API keys. For an agency that connects fifty accounts and sends a few hundred posts a month it is the lowest bill on this page.
Where Post for Me wins: the cheapest bill for many accounts. Where PostWire goes further: a free plan, a native post per network from one idea, client approvals, and an MCP server listed in Claude's directory.
Built around uploading media to every network at once, with an open-source MCP server (hosted or npx @upload-post/mcp) and a documented REST API.
Where Upload-Post wins: unlimited uploads on every paid plan and an MIT-licensed MCP server. Where PostWire goes further: TikTok on the free plan, a post written per network, and a business-based price ($29 for 10 businesses against $147 for 75 profiles).
Every plan includes the MCP server, CLI and API. The code is open source and can be self-hosted; the cloud plans are the ones above.
Where Postiz wins: open source, and 100 channels for $99. Where PostWire goes further: a free plan with no time limit, per-network writing, and $29 for 10 businesses with all of their channels.
Credits cover AI image and video generation; writing, scheduling and API calls are unlimited. The API and MCP are on every paid plan and not on the trial.
Where Blotato wins: built-in image and video generation. Where PostWire goes further: the API and MCP on the free plan, and $29 for ten businesses where Blotato's 50-account setup is the $499 plan.
A mature API aimed at SaaS companies that resell posting to their users, with analytics, comment management and an ads add-on. Enterprise from 300 profiles.
Where Ayrshare wins: scope for a platform with thousands of end users. Where PostWire goes further: a free plan, $9 to start, and the post written per network included instead of a $300 add-on.
Pro installs the full source on one domain with every network, multi-tenant workspaces, API, MCP and webhooks. No monthly fee; renewing the license is optional and only affects updates.
Where Mixpost wins: no recurring bill and full control of the code. Where PostWire goes further: nothing to host, TikTok and YouTube audits already passed, and a hosted MCP server any agent signs in to.
One brand, you want the post written for each network: PostWire, free, then $9. Many accounts, few posts, lowest bill: Post for Me at $10. Pay per account with two free: Zernio. Finished videos uploaded everywhere, MIT MCP server: Upload-Post. Open source with a cloud option: Postiz. AI images and video next to publishing: Blotato. A platform your own users post through: Ayrshare. Own the code, pay once: Mixpost.
The free plan includes the REST API and the hosted MCP server, so the first call costs nothing: POST /api/generate with an idea and a list of networks returns a draft per network, and POST /api/post publishes them; from an agent, generate_posts and post_to_social do the same in two tool calls. Start with the API reference, the MCP server or the free social media posting API guide. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn audits are already passed, so there is no app review on your side.
