The part self-hosting does not solve
Postiz's code is free. The platform approvals are not. To post to TikTok from your own deployment you still submit your own app for TikTok's Content Posting API audit, and to reach Instagram you still pass Meta's app review. That is weeks of paperwork per platform, and it is the actual reason most self-hosted installs end up posting to Mastodon and Bluesky only.
Where Postiz is genuinely ahead
It is open source and it never meters your posts. PostWire's plans have monthly post caps; Postiz does not. If you have infrastructure people and high volume, that is a strong deal.
What PostWire does that most of these do not
A native post per network from one idea. Smart Distribute writes the caption each platform rewards — length, hashtags, SEO and format — instead of pasting identical text everywhere.
