- Add PostWire as a custom connector
If your ChatGPT plan offers developer mode, add a connector with the URL
https://postwire.io/api/mcpand sign in when asked (OAuth). Menu names in ChatGPT change often; OpenAI's help page has the current path. Not available on your plan? Use PostWire in Claude, where it is in the connector directory. - Sign in with your email

- Connect TikTok
Ask "connect my TikTok". The connector (
create_connect_link) returns a one-hour link; open it, sign in on TikTok and come back. - Upload the video
Ask "post this video to TikTok". The assistant calls
create_upload_link: open the link on the device that has the file (up to 1 GB, straight from a phone), then say "uploaded". It reads the file withget_uploaded_file. - Approve the caption and who can see it

Can ChatGPT post to TikTok directly?
Not by itself. It needs a connector (MCP server) that is authorized to post to TikTok. PostWire's connector holds TikTok's Direct Post approval (audited July 7, 2026), so your posts can be public.

Will my TikTok be public?
