How to promote your small business products on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook with ChatGPT
generate_posts (a hook-first TikTok caption, a short Instagram caption, a short Facebook post), shows them to you, and after your yes publishes them with post_to_social or schedules them with schedule_post through each network's official API. The free plan covers all three networks: 1 business, 10 posts a month, 5 AI drafts a day, 2 networks per post, no card. The same works in Claude, where PostWire is in the connector directory.ChatGPT on its own only writes the words; the app is what lets it publish. You keep the last word: nothing is posted before you approve the exact text, and scheduled posts go out from PostWire's servers with ChatGPT closed.
Updated . Written from PostWire's own code; vendor prices read on Nov 6, 2026. Live networks: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn (personal profiles), Facebook Pages, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, and X on paid plans.
Set it up and post, step by step
Prompt to copy once the accounts are connected: I run a small shop selling hand-embroidered Christmas ornaments. Here is a photo of the new robin ornament, $18. Write a TikTok caption, an Instagram caption and a Facebook post, show them to me, and schedule them for tomorrow at 9am my time.
- Add PostWire to ChatGPT
Open PostWire in ChatGPT's app directory, or search for PostWire in ChatGPT's apps, and add it. A sign-in window asks for your email and a 6-digit code, which also creates a free PostWire account if you have none: no password and no card. Using Claude? Press Connect on PostWire in Claude's connector directory; the steps below are the same.
- Connect TikTok, Instagram and your Facebook Page
Ask "connect my TikTok, Instagram and Facebook". ChatGPT calls
create_connect_linkand gives you a one-hour link; on it you sign in on each network's own page. Instagram offers Log in with Instagram (no Facebook Page needed) or through a Facebook Page you manage. Facebook asks which Pages PostWire may use: tick your business Page. PostWire never sees your passwords. - Give it the product photo or video
A file attached to the chat does not reach the app, so ChatGPT gives you an upload page (
create_upload_link): open it on the phone that has the photo or the video and pick the file, up to 100 MB on the free plan and 1 GB on paid plans. Several photos become an Instagram carousel (up to 10) and a TikTok photo post (up to 35). - Describe the product and approve the posts
Say what it is, the price if you want it shown, who it is for and where to buy it. ChatGPT returns one draft per network and publishes nothing yet. Ask for changes in plain words ("shorter", "mention free shipping", "no emojis on Facebook"). For TikTok, say who can see it: public, friends or private.
- Post now, or schedule it
Say "post it" and ChatGPT calls
post_to_social; say "tomorrow at 9am" and it callsschedule_post, up to 365 days ahead. One call carries each network's own text:{ "name": "schedule_post", "arguments": { "platforms": ["tiktok", "instagram", "facebook"], "per_platform": { "tiktok": { "text": "Stitched by hand, one robin at a time 🧵 New Christmas ornament, link in bio. #handembroidery #christmasornaments #smallbusiness" }, "instagram": { "text": "Meet the robin 🐦 Hand-embroidered, $18. Comment ROBIN to save one. #handmade #christmasdecor" }, "facebook": { "text": "New this week: the hand-embroidered robin ornament, $18 🎄" } }, "photo_url": "https://postwire.io/m/…/robin-ornament.jpg", "privacy": "public", "run_at": "2026-11-07T09:00:00-05:00" } } - Check what went out
The answer lists each network with its link, or the reason it was refused and the fix. If one network refuses (a personal Instagram account, say), the others still go out. "What's scheduled this week?" calls
list_scheduled_posts.
The same queue is on the dashboard's Queue page, with Reschedule and Cancel. Prefer to start by hand? Open the dashboard and write the first post in the composer.

Where PostWire is ahead
- All three networks on the free plan, 10 posts a month, no card and no time limit. Upload-Post's free plan leaves TikTok out; Postiz starts with a 7-day trial.
- The cheapest paid plan here: $19 a month for 3 businesses. Upload-Post $24, Postiz $29.
- A post written for each feed: one description of the product gives a TikTok caption, an Instagram caption and a Facebook post that follow each network's own rules.
- Photos from the phone: the upload link opens on the device that has them, so nothing has to be online first.
- The same app in ChatGPT and Claude, with one account, one queue and the same connected networks.
- Upload-Post — Post to Social Media with ChatGPT ("Official ChatGPT plugin", listed in ChatGPT's Plugins; the same server works in Claude; "Free to start, no credit card"): www.upload-post.com/chatgpt-social-media/
- Upload-Post llms-full.txt (Free plan: 10 uploads a month, "platforms without TikTok"; Basic $24 a month, 5 profiles): www.upload-post.com/llms-full.txt
- Postiz in ChatGPT ("Add the official Postiz app from the ChatGPT directory in one click, or turn on Developer mode and paste the MCP link as a custom connector"): postiz.com/chatgpt
- Postiz pricing ("Start with a 7-day free trial"; Standard $29 a month, 5 channels): postiz.com/pricing
What ChatGPT writes for each network
The rules PostWire's writer follows for each network, read in PostWire's code on Nov 6, 2026. One description of the product gives all three:
| TikTok | Facebook Page | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Length aimed for | 150-300 characters (up to 2,200) | Under 100 characters (up to 2,200) | 40-80 characters, under 250 (up to 2,000) |
| The hook | In the first 80-100 characters | The first line, like an ad | In the first 125 characters, where the phone cuts |
| Hashtags | Up to 5, inside the caption | Up to 5, at the end | 1 to 3 |
| Call to action | One, short, after the value line | One: save, share or comment | A link in the post is fine |
| What it needs | A video, or 1 to 35 photos | A photo, a carousel of up to 10, or a video (Reel) | Text, a photo or a video |
A text-only post goes to Facebook; TikTok and Instagram need a photo or a video, and the answer says so rather than posting something else.
A weekly routine that takes ten minutes
- Monday: take three photos or short clips of what you want to sell this week.
- Upload them through one upload link and tell ChatGPT one line about each product.
- Ask for the week: "one product a day, Tuesday to Thursday at 9am, on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook". Approve the drafts.
- Look at what worked: "which of last week's posts did best?" calls
get_post_performance, and the next week starts from that.
The free plan keeps 3 posts waiting at once and sends each post to 2 networks, so on Free the week above is TikTok and Instagram, or Instagram and Facebook. Starter ($19 a month) sends every post to all three and has no limit on the queue.
What Starter ($19 a month) adds for a small business
- Every network in each post: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and the rest from one request.
- No limit on the queue: plan the whole season at once.
- 25 recurring posts: "every Friday, remind people about weekend opening hours", with versions of the text used in turn.
- 3 businesses, each with its own accounts, and files 1 GB on paid plans.
Plans and prices: pricing. Paid plans have a 14-day refund.
What it does not do
PostWire posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles or Groups, and to Instagram Business or Creator accounts, not personal ones. It does not read your online shop, does not create ads or tag shop products, does not edit photos or cut videos, and does not answer comments or messages.
Questions people ask
Can ChatGPT post to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for my business?
Yes, with an app. ChatGPT publishes nothing by itself; with PostWire added from ChatGPT's app directory and your accounts connected once, it writes a post for each network and publishes or schedules them after you approve.
Do I need an Instagram business account?
Yes: Instagram lets apps post only to Business or Creator accounts, and switching is free in Instagram's settings. No developer app: you connect to PostWire's approved Meta app. No Facebook Page either if you choose Log in with Instagram; the account must be a Business or Creator account.
Can ChatGPT post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. Facebook lets no app post to a personal profile, so PostWire posts to a Facebook Page you manage. No Page yet? Create one at facebook.com/pages/create, then connect it.
Can I send product photos from my phone?
Yes. Files attached to the chat do not reach the app, so ChatGPT gives you an upload page; open it on your phone and pick the photos or the video.
Can it post the same product on all three networks at once?
Yes, each with its own text. On the free plan one post goes to 2 networks; Starter ($19 a month) sends it to every connected network.
Will it post anything without asking me?
No. ChatGPT shows you the exact text for each network and posts or schedules only after you say yes. On paid plans you can also require an emailed approval before anything goes out.
How much does it cost?
The free plan includes TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Pages: 1 business, 10 posts a month, 5 AI drafts a day, 2 networks per post, no card. Starter is $19 a month for 3 businesses and Pro $29 for 10, with every network in each post; paid plans have a 14-day refund.
Try it on one business, free.
The free plan is 1 business, 10 posts a month, 5 AI drafts a day (about 20 a month) and 2 networks per post — every network connects free, no card, no time limit. Paid plans start at $19 a month and have a 14-day refund; Pro can be tried free for 7 days and Agency for 14, with a card at checkout and nothing charged that day.
